Pankraz Freitag is the new President of the Nagra’s Board of Directors

The members of the Nagra cooperative today nominated Pankraz Freitag as the new President of the Board of Directors. He replaces Hans Issler who, after 20 years as President, is entering retirement. 56-year old Freitag is a member of the Council of States, representing Canton Glarus in Bern since 2008. In his ten years as a member of the cantonal government, he gained wide experience in the areas of construction and environmental issues.

Pankraz Freitag studied mathematics, physics and biology at the University of Zürich, after which he became a mathematics teacher at the cantonal school in Glarus. He is married and has three children.
